Magic Muti Origins
Throughout history Cannabis (Marijuana or Dagga as it is known in South Africa) has been used extensively for medicinal purposes and not just as a recreational product. The health benefits of this plant are becoming more and more widely known and there is an ever increasing amount of research being done on this previously maligned plant.
The Name:
“Muti” is an African word meaning medicine and the “Magic” is pretty self explanatory due to the amazing number of illnesses and complaints that can be alleviated by the proper use of Cannabis products.
Our History:
The founder of Magic Muti had a grandmother suffering from Alzheimers and, in desperation due to there being no formal medical cure, started researching the use of Marijuana oil intending to purchase some to help her relative.
Not being happy with the manner of production of those few suppliers that were prepared to discuss their methods of manufacture she then decided to start making her own oils to use for her gran. There was a clear difference in the effects of the Alzheimers after the oil started being used – her grandmother was more focused and had an increased ability to remember those she was speaking to. Please note that there is still no cure for Alzheimers but the oil made her grandmother more aware than before.
The results of this remarkable treatment created a passion to assist in helping others out there who were looking for a natural remedy for their ailments and led to the founding of Magic Muti.
Method of Production:
All Magic Muti products are made using ONLY natural oils (a combination of Coconut, Olive and Canola) and the Cannabis is infused over a long period of time (typically 2 days) without being boiled or chemically treated (methods commonly used to speed up the process). The final product is then filtered twice to remove any residuals and ensures a dark golden liquid with a pleasant taste. The salves are manufactured in exactly the same way, but also contain natural beeswax to create the non liquid format.
